This Italian Sub Sliders recipe combines ham, salami, pepperoni and provolone, then gets baked until melty. Top them with your favorite toppings and mayo and you have yourself a party crowd-pleaser!If there is one food item that I crave more than others, its submarine sandwiches and slider recipes. Italian Sub Sliders or subs are usually what I go for. Summer makes me crave sandwiches and food that doesn’t need to be cooked or warmed up. Who wants to turn on the oven in the summer? Not me.

These Italian Sub Sliders are always a hit, along with my Jalapeño Cheeseburger Party Buns. Perfect for parties or a quick lunch or dinner these little sliders combine ham, salami, pepperoni and provolone that get baked until melty and then topped with a flavorful chopped mix of lettuce, onion, banana pepper and roasted red peppers with mayo and classic Italian dressing.  These sliders are so easy and delicious! Always a huge crowd-pleaser.

You can feel free to use poppy seeds in place of the Italian seasoning if you prefer. Kids seem to prefer the poppy seeds, but it depends on your family. Also, you can brush the rolls with olive oil in place of the butter. Whatever you prefer will be delicious! The King’s Hawaiian sweet and soft rolls are my favorite rolls and pair perfectly with salty salami and melt-y provolone cheese. I really cannot stop thinking about them even now.

The Italian Sub Sliders recipe ready to be cut and served

I can literally think of so many uses for these Italian Sub Sliders. I say literally way too much, I am aware. Game days will soon be in full swing. Game day recipes are so much fun, aren’t they? It’s an excuse to fill up on snacks and junk food.

We also have the holiday party season just around the corner (although let’s not think about that right now because I’m completely in denial). I’ve been all about the easy snacks and appetizers when back-to-school rolls around and my daughter gets hungry mid-afternoon. Italian Sub Sliders and Crock Pot French Dip Sandwiches have been my go-to as they are two meals she’ll actually eat.
