Candy Corn Lush
Layers of vanilla cookies, a creamy cheesecake layer and a vanilla pudding layer all colored to look like candy corn. Candy Corn Lush recipe is always a favorite at parties and is a make-ahead fall Halloween dessert that’ll make all ghouls go wild!
Fall is here already! I can’t even believe it. I honestly don’t like this time of year, because I hate to see summer ending. However, I do love fall baking and Halloween recipes. This Candy Corn Lush is where it’s at.
Halloween is not my favorite holiday by any stretch of the imagination, but there’s no denying that it’s just so darn fun! Every year my whole family dresses up, we decorate our house and put out all kinds of fun spooky stuff on Halloween to creep out the trick-or-treaters. Sometimes our frie
nds throw a big bash. Did you know 34% percent of Americans either attend or throw a Halloween party each year? Get in with the in-crowd, kids.
Guys, fall desserts, I love this candy corn lush. It has all the nostalgic flavors of fall without being pumpkin or apple. I feel like everything is pumpkin and apple this time of year. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.
Ok, there IS something wrong with that. Candy corn gets neglected! Even if you don’t like the actual candy, you will love this dessert as well as my Candy Corn Pretzel Bites.. Seriously, don’t turn your nose up at candy corn until you try this.
Can I just let you all in on a little secret without judgement? I actually am one of those weirdos who LIKES candy corn. I know…it is gross and artificially flavored and artificially colored and leaves that weird taste in your mouth. For some reason I actually like the stuff, all things being equal. I don’t want to sit down and eat an entire bowl of it or anything crazy. But a few pieces or my Candy Corn Cookie Cups are wher
e it’s at. Right around Halloween, candy corn is a huge YES for me.
Although it’s in the 90’s right now here and doesn’t feel like fall, I’m totally in the mood for fall baking. At least once a week in the fall months, you will find me in the kitchen making some kind of festive dessert. This year I came up with a super fun treat to add to my party spread (next to my Halloween Jello Shots) with this candy corn lush! This spin on a lush dessert turns it from normal to paranormal!
Okay, maybe they won’t slime you or spook you, but oh man is this candy corn lush recipe is so good! This Halloween dessert looks totally awesome on the table with my Candy Corn White Chocolate Bark and Sweet & Salty Halloween Chex Mix and all other kinds of fun Halloween party ideas!
