Dairy-Free Strawberry Pineapple Smoothie
A vegan, gluten-free, Dairy-Free Strawberry Pineapple Smoothie is a healthy alternative for breakfast and so easy to make!
Happy Friday to everyone! I hope that everyone had a great week and have some fun planned for the weekend. I am finally getting over my sickness and am ready to relax and enjoy the weekend. Temperatures have been in the 90’s and super humid here the last couple of days! It’s very unusual for it to be this hot in May and it is supposed to last through the weekend. I really need to make friends with some of our neighbors with pools!
As you can see, I’m still on my smoothie binge (my other favorites so far are this Banana Cashew Smoothie, which is also dairy free, and this Banana-Mango Smoothie). I love pineapple, and wanted a smoothie that would incorporate this fruit in a simple, but wonderful way. I also had strawberries on hand so this Dairy-Free Strawberry Pineapple Smoothie is what I came up with! Isn’t it super pretty?
This smoothie is so delicious and will cool you off and fill you up on those hot Summer (or Spring!) days.
- 10 strawberries
- 1 cup pineapple
- ½-1 cup water (substitute ice if you are using fresh strawberries)
- squeeze of honey (optional)
- Place all ingredients into your blender, and blend on high until desired consistency is reached. You may need to adjust the amount of water/ ice cubes you add to get the consistency just right. If you use frozen strawberries, you will need almost a full cup of water to get the consistency to where it should be.
- Yields 2
I can live without pineapple, and i have a pool, come on down. and honey should never be optional. maybe u should make the honey mandatory and the pineapple optional.. but it looks fantastic ashley, just magic!
You’re right, i’ll edit that out. Silly me.
This smoothie sounds so refreshing! Do you think it’s okay to replace water with milk? Or would that ruin the taste?
I think it would change the taste but not ruin it! Thanks, Monica!
I’m on a smoothie kick too! This sounds great. I love using almond milk to make them extra creamy sometimes.
I need to try it with almond milk! I never have any and I need to start buying it.
I have a bunch of leftover pineapple and strawberries so I am making this tomorrow morning for sure!
It’s a great way to use up that leftover fruit! 🙂
What a gorgeous smoothie!
Thanks so much Nicole!
Yum! Sounds refreshing and delicious.
Thank you! It definitely was!
Yes it is pretty! 🙂 Strawberry and pineapple sound like the perfect blend for smoothies. I’m glad to hear you’re getting better. Just in time for the weekend too. Happy Friday Ashley and have a stellar weekend!
Thanks, Anne! I appreciate it! I hope you do as well 🙂

Thanks, John! I’m feeling much better, just need to get my voice back now 🙂 It’s gone from coughing so much!
mmmmmmm!
Love a simple smoothie! Your pictures are amazing. We too are having a heat wave here in the northeast (not sure where you live) so this will be refreshing. 🙂
I’m in upstate NY. You?? Thanks for the compliment on my pictures! Sometimes I’m not so sure if they are good or not 🙂
This has summer written ALL OVER IT. Love it!!!
Thanks, girl! I love smoothies all year ’round but especially in the summer…
Need this right now! Sounds so refreshing and looks so pretty!
Aww thanks! I could actually go for one of these right now too! LOL
This is my favorite way to make smoothies! Sometimes I substitute the water for orange juice or lemon lime. Either way – yum!
I’ve heard other people say they do that, too. I’ll have to try it!
What a perfect summer smoothie. I love pineapple and strawberries too. Now I am tempted to make a smoothie!
Thanks, Bianca! The combo was soo good 🙂
This sounds yummy! Love that it’s dairy free, too
Thanks, Kelly!
