Tips and Frequently Asked Questions:
- What type of sugar cookie dough did you use?
I recommend using the Pillsbury cookie dough found in the refrigerated section of the grocery store.
- Can I use another type of cookie dough?
Yes, I was thinking of making these with the white chocolate macadamia nut cookie dough just because I love the flavor of those cookies.
- If I don’t enjoy the taste of the green melting chocolate, is there something else I can use as a substitute?
Definitely! You can easily get a tub of vanilla frosting and add some green food coloring to it. Then you can place the frosting in a piping bag and pipe it right into the center of the cookies like it’s a cupcake.
- Where do you find the heart sprinkles?
I found these at Michaels craft store, but they are not available online for some reason. If you don’t have a Michaels store around, you can buy these Wilton heart sprinkles instead.
