Buffalo Chicken Wing Dip
Buffalo Chicken Wing Dip recipe takes the delicious taste of buffalo chicken wings but puts them in an easy to make dip. With just 5 ingredients, you are sure to fall in love with this easy appetizer dip!
Happy New Year! I absolutely love easy dip recipes. They are the perfect appetizer for Super Bowl parties, holidays, birthdays, or just any get-together. If you’re looking for a quick, easy and delicious appetize, look no further! I love the old classics: Spinach Artichoke dip, Seven Layer dip, and Jalapeno Popper Dip, but this one will always have my heart.
Buffalo Chicken Wing Dip is a versatile recipe for all occasions. It just is one of those staple dips you have at every party. I tend to park in fat butt in front of the whole pan and just hang out there for the longevity of the party because this dip is my FAVORITE, you guys. The cream cheese and blue cheese makes it so rich and decadent, while the buffalo wing sauce gives it just a nice little kick without being overly spicy.
Buffalo Chicken Wing Dip always a hit when we make it for friends and family, and it’s a lot easier to make than chicken wings and less messy to serve and eat, too. I love anything spicy, and the flavors in this easy dip are perfect. You can adjust it to make it less spicy if you want to.
I enjoy this dip straight out of the oven – served hot and bubbly. If you’re serving this for a party, you can transfer it to a crock pot and keep it warm all night. I do this a lot for my Bacon Cheeseburger Dip. This will help keep the buffalo chicken wing dip at the perfect temperature all night long.
We use store-bought rotisserie chicken for this recipe to make it even easier on yourself with less prep work. Get the chicken, add all of the ingredients, and it’s ready to bake. You can also make it ahead and keep it in the fridge or freeze it to have on hand for later. I wish I took my own advice, and I had some right now waiting for me in the freezer!
How long is buffalo chicken wing dip good for?
Leftover dip will keep for three to four days in the refrigerator. You don’t want to freeze this dip if possible because the texture will be off. It’s really meant to be enjoyed the same day it is made for the best results.
Can you freeze buffalo chicken dip?
if you must, yes, you can freeze it unbaked. So, assemble it in a freezer-safe container and then leave it in the freezer for up to three months. Thaw it in the refrigerator before baking it as instructed.
This dip is not meant for freezing and should be consumed right away or kept in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. Reheat in microwave or oven.
For the chicken, I used plain boiled chicken breasts for this dip, but you can use any leftover chicken from last night’s dinner, rotisserie chicken, and so on.
