I’m on my way home from Miami today where the frozen tundra awaits me! OK, that was a bit dramatic.  I am actually writing this ahead of time since I will be out of town for a short but sweet Royal Caribbean cruise and I have NO idea what the weather will actually be like today.  Rochester likes to keep us guessing in the fall. I guess it’s fun sometimes – one day you could be bundled up in your booties and scarves freezing your butt off and the next day you could unexpectedly get one more use out of your summer clothes and flip-flops.  I usually pride myself on wearing flip-flops right up until the first snowfall but my feet just can’t handle the abuse anymore.  With each passing year they get more and more wimpy (as does the rest of me).

I contributed the Slow Cooker Turkey Breast to the meal plan this week.  I loved this idea because you can have a manageable amount of turkey any night of the week and it’s super easy to make!  Turkey is my favorite protein and I like to have it all year ’round.
