Huggies No Baby Unhugged Program makes donations to families in need who struggle to provide diapers for their babies!

Eliza in Huggies special delivery diapers. Before I tell you about the Huggies No Baby Unhugged program I wanted to give you an update. Eliza is turning 16 months old this month and she is learning so much. It seems like she changes every single day and learns something new, whether its a word, a sign (I’m teaching her simple sign language), or a skill. We have also been teaching her to give us hugs and kisses lately.

She mostly gives all of her best and loving affection to her favorite little baby doll (haha), but the times where she does decide to give mommy and daddy big hugs, it is seriously the best feeling in the entire world. Hugs are the greatest feeling ever coming from a sweet innocent little baby, but also help them with bonding and learning engagement. That makes hugs super important! There is definitely power in hugs.

When I heard about the Huggies No Baby Unhugged program in partnership with ShopRite, I knew I had to get involved right away. A program with a name like that instantly tugged at my heart strings.

I immediately needed to find out more information about the No Baby Unhugged program and felt the need to share it with you all. Did you know that one-in-three families in the U.S. struggle to provide diapers for their baby? That is roughly 36% of families!

Thinking about my own sweet little girl, this makes me heavyhearted. There is nothing like hearing those statistics to give you a new appreciation for our easy access to diapers when not everyone has that access and ability, am I right?

Huggies will donate a day’s worth of diapers to National Diaper Bank Network partners in the New Jersey and Connecticut areas to help a family in need. If you’re an online shopper like I am (I rarely make it to the store these days), don’t forget that your purchase on Shoprite.com counts as long as it’s during the promotion period!

A huge thank you to Huggies for shining a light on this need in the U.S. and taking action! Also, thank you very much to everyone who decides to participate in the No Baby Unhugged program and easily make an impact for these families in need of diapers. Together, we can help donate 500,000 diapers and make a positive impact.
