You guys, I had one heck of a dramatic last couple of days that you may want to hear about. I went to Indianapolis on a trip to visit Tuttorosso tomato farm and learn all about their company and the process of growing their crop all the way to the finished canned product. It was amazing!
The buzz kill was on my way home from my tomato high. Due to the ignorance of a certain airline I took (::::cough:::: American Airlines ::::cough::::), I missed my connecting flight in D.C. to get home to Rochester. How much time did I miss it by, you ask? I missed it by a whopping THREE minutes. It’s a very long, frustrating story that makes my blood boil so I won’t explain it all to you, but let’s just say I spent 19 frustrating, sleepless hours in the D.C. airport and was awake for 32 hours straight before I finally made it home and into my bed. I couldn’t even form a complete sentence by the time I was on the home stretch headed home from the airport. What a nightmare! I did, however, make a couple of new friendships with people who were in the same boat as me with missing their flights home and sat across from Caitlyn Jenner at the airport. Maybe I’m a bit out of touch, but I had no idea who it was until I saw a bunch of young girls go up to her and start taking selfies. Like I needed any more excitement in my day/night/whatever it was at the time for me. All that matters is that I’m home (yet still exhausted).
