Cinnamon Apple Pie Bread
Forget the homemade pie crust and get all the flavors of fall in a quick & easy cinnamon apple pie bread recipe with brown sugar and cinnamon topping that’s as sweet as apple pie!
I have to admit that I definitely mourn the end of summer’s blueberries, strawberries and peaches, but the end of summer and beginning of the fall season is a lot easier to swallow given the plethora of fresh apple dessert recipes. I love this Cinnamon Apple Pie Bread.
I’m normally more of a berry person when it comes to fruit, but this season I’m going to teach myself to love apples just as much. Why am I weird and don’t love apples?
I began my apple phase by baking this amazing cinnamon apple pie bread from a recipe I had written down from a while back in my trusty recipe book. It has all the flavors of an apple pie, but in the form of a bread. Anyone else a bigger fan of dessert bread than pie?
I’m all about the warm and cozy taste and texture of apple pie, but I’m having fun reworking those flavors into other desserts. You might also love this Fresh Apple Pie Dip!
I’m so glad you’re here! Follow along on Pinterest and Instagram for more inspiration!
I ate at least one slice of this bread for breakfast, dessert, and for a snack. I just couldn’t get enough of it and it’s suitable to eat at any time of the day, kind of like my Apple Cider Cupcakes.
It got my wheels turning on everything I can do with it the next time I make it. How about some apple bread french toast, anyone? I’m also loving these Dutch Apple Pie Cheesecake Bars from my friend Trish.
This is a fantastically moist bread that I can see being perfect to start a day of apple picking or Thanksgiving morning. The scent in my house was heavenly while this was baking, as you can imagine. I loved the texture change that came from dicing the apples as opposed to shredding them as a lot of recipes call for.
Yup, this Cinnamon Apple Pie Bread is the stuff my fall dreams are made of, my friends. Bring on the apples, pumpkins and array of browns and orange.
Be sure to check out my step-by-step video above on how to make this Cinnamon Apple Pie Bread. It’s so super duper easy!
- ⅓ cup light brown sugar (not packed)
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ⅔ cup white sugar
- ½ cup salted butter, softened (or use unsalted and add ¼ tsp salt)
- 2 eggs
- 1½ teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1¾ teaspoons baking powder
- ½ cup milk
- 1 apple, peeled and chopped (I used Granny Smith)
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.
- Mix brown sugar and cinnamon together in a mixing bowl and set aside.
- Beat white sugar and butter together in a bowl using an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
- Beat in eggs, 1 at a time, until incorporated; add vanilla extract and stir until incorporated.
- Combine flour and baking powder together in another bowl; stir into creamed butter mixture.
- Mix milk into batter until smooth.
- Pour half the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Next add half the apples and half the brown sugar cinnamon mixture. Lightly pat/push apple mixture into batter.
- Pour the remaining batter over apple layer; top with remaining apples and add more brown sugar/cinnamon mixture.
- Lightly pat/push apples into batter; swirl brown sugar mixture through apples using a finger or spoon (I cleaned my hands and used my finger because it was easier).
- Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted in the center of the loaf comes out clean, 30 to 40 minutes. Mine took about 35.
You made a comment about apple French toast. Could you use this bread to make the French toast or would it be too moist and fall apart if you put it in an egg wash?
Suzanne – this is something I haven’t tried yet, but want to the next time I make this bread. I wish I could tell you it would definitely work for french toast, but I’m not sure! I know it would be really delicious if it works 🙂 I think it will be fine. Let me know if you try it.
Ashley—
I just made your recipe for cinnamon apple pie bread. I would classify it as cake not bread. It tastes great but is definitely not the consistency of bread. Its light and fluffy and is thicker than your pic showed.
Banana bread is more of a cake as well, however, it’s still called bread!
Love this. It is a staple in my house. The smell as it is baking is a added bonus. I make these 2 at a time with 3 teenagers in my home. Does not last long. Lol. And i agree. It is a bread NOT a cake. And judging by the countless similar recipes on the internet classifying it as a bread and not a cake, apparently they agree too. Why do people want to argue? Anyways, this goes great with a very simple glaze drizzled all over made with powdered sugar and milk. I love fall time! Thank you for sharing this delicious BREAD recipe.
I also made it and it is delicious but definitely more of a cake texture than bread mixture. While zucchini bread is usually more dense and not a fluffy cake texture. That being said, it is really good. The only thing I changed was half light brown sugar and half dark brown sugar and I added half a teaspoon extra of Cinnamon bc we love cinnamon. Other than that I didn’t change a single thing. But, I agree it’s definitely a cake texture not bread. Still, very yummy! I think it would work really well as a muffin since muffins usually have more of a cake texture too.
I chunked up two apples, and an xtra tsp cinnamon! took 45 min to get center firm…….YUMMMMM!
thanx!
I totally agree with you. I kept thinking it wasn’t cooked/baked enough so I kept putting it back in oven then the surrounding was getting too baked. But it taste amazing!
I’m glad I read your comment, baking it now and having that exact issue. Hope it comes out good. I have a vanilla glaze in case it’s too dry . Just got out of oven and I had to taste it. Not bad at all. 55 minutes to cook. The center was freaking me out.
Lol you expected something with the words “apple pie” in the title to be more like wonder bread and less like banana bread? There’s no yeast in it either… why would you give it two stars for your misunderstanding?? That’s rude!
Do you only need 1 apple? It seems like it calls for more than 1.
I see someone already asked. Thanks!
Wow Starbucks Coffee Cake has nothing on this yuminest. Wow I add 2 apples but I can see it has lots of room for more. I almost eat the whole pie by myself and I’m not ashamed 😂. This is a keeper. I almost freaked out when I thought I didn’t save the recipe. But I did. So I’ll make this pie as a Thanksgiving little sweet gift to a friend. ❤️ Thank you so much for sharing. Katerina
Next time I will add more apple. I used only 1. Husband just said it was great thank god!!
I made this amazing bread, best apple bread ever! Can I turn this into muffins? How long and at what temperature would I bake them at?
Yes to7 can make muffins out it, same temp change the time. Personally I would cook the apples first give them a head start because the muffins won’t take 45 min to cook. I’d say more or less 20 to 25 min for muffins. I’d also flavor the apples a bit nit to much because it could over power something else. But it my opinion.
This came out delicious. I thought I had all ingredients but didn’t realize I ran out of baking powder and substitute with yogurt and added some Pecans. When I tell you it’s moist and amazing.
I just posted an apple pie bread recipe, how funny. I love all the summer fruits and berries as well. With the leaves changing color and falling to earth my body looks forward to the fall fruits and cooking them.
I agree the aroma that fills the house is heavenly. Your bread looks beautiful and I’m sure it’s delicious!
Just checked yours out, too – YUM!!!
Trying it for the first time this afternoon! I already can tell it’s more like a cake than bread…we’ll see if my family even eats it. They never like what I make but that doesn’t stop me. I will keep baking cakes till they eat one.
Yes it’s more dense than bread!
Such a perfect fall recipe!
Thanks, Marie! It sure is.
Oh this looks yummy and I just took the kids apple picking yesterday! Leanna just told me we need to try making apple pie today but I think I will do this instead!!!
Let me know if you try it! I still have to try making your blueberry zucchini bread sometime.
Can you e-mail the recipe you got for blueberry zucchini bread. I make mini loaves of zucchini bread in winter to put in freezer and I would like to try this recipe
So cozy and inviting for early fall breakfasts! About that French Toast…I bet this moist apple pie tasting bread would be divine in a French Toast Bake/Bread Pudding! Yum. (I’m hungry right now, LOL!) Thanks for sharing, Ashley!
YES bread pudding is another great idea!
Omigoodness! This looks amazing. I can practically smell it baking. Apple desserts are so much fun. I am a berry lover too, but apples just scream cover my in sugar and caramel and bake me. 🙂 Happy fall!
Haha You are SO right!
We just finished a vegetable loaf of bread we’ve been stuffing in our mouths every breakfast so I’ve been looking for what to bake next, looks like this is going to win!
Make this your next bread baking sesh! 🙂
This bread looks so moist just from the photos! I love fall for all the apples and apple picking. It’s winter that I’m not looking forward to!
Same here – it’s what comes AFTER fall that scares me 🙂
That last photo looks stunningly delicious and moist! Yum! And since it’s still a bit warm outside I bet this would be great with a scoop of ice cream! 😛
Thanks Ruby! This would go perfect with vanilla ice cream!
I can’t get enough of good apple resipes! This looks fantasitc, Ashley and now that our apples are ready to be picked I know one more way that we will be putting them to good use. Thanks for this awesome applet pie bread recipe!!
Thanks, Dan! Happy apple picking 😉
Your apple bread looks amazing!! I have a ton of apples I could put to good use with this!
Thanks, Nancy! Now put those apples to good use 🙂
Oh Gosh, Ashley, this looks utterly amazing!! What a great way to start with fall baking. I’m so adding this to my fall bucket list, because I have to make it asap 😉 Pinning x
Thanks, Consuelo!!
I am SO glad that apples are in season right now..this recipe makes me smile :).
Ditto!!!
Well, I love anything apple-pied! Sounds awesome.
I’m learning to love all things apple 🙂
I was all set to make apple pie tonight….but that will have to wait now that I have this tempting recipe. Thanks for sharing!
This beats apple pie in my book 🙂
Bring on the apples! I am going apple picking on Saturday, can’t wait to start baking!
Yay!!
Oh this looks so delicious, Ashley!
Thank you, Monica!
Thanks for sharing. It’s already in the oven and the house smells DIVINE!
Jessica – awesome! Thanks for letting me know and let me know how you like it 🙂
This is definitely packed with wonderful fall flavors. I bet your house smelled wonderful when this is in the oven. Can’t wait to make my kitchen smells great too.
It did! Thanks for stopping by, Amy!
Oh dear, I think I really need to start baking now. And I know exactly what I’ll be making! Thank you for sharing 🙂 It looks delicious!
Thanks for coming by!! I hope you like it!
I can’t wait to start baking with apples! We haven’t done much yet this year.
I’ve done more pumpkin than apples, but plan to step it up with the apple baking!

I made this last week and it was delicious . Thank you .
Thank you for coming back to let me know!! Glad you liked it!
Please tell me (I’m English so can’t understand your cups system!) How many grams is a cup??!!
Hi Jo! I found this website for converting cups to grams! Hope this helps! http://www.ehow.com/how_5001860_convert-grams-cups.html
Is one apple enough in this recipe?? It just doesn’t seem like it would be. Thanks.
One decent-size apple was definitely enough but feel free to use more if you’d like 🙂
Was woundering what do you think would be the maximum number of apples that you think could be used? I have like 4 dozen apples and don’t need like 4 dozen loafs of bread.
Made the cinnamon apple pie bread. It was delicious. Love baking when the weather turns cool and apples and pumpkin are in season.
Sandy, so glad you liked it! Thanks for the feedback 🙂

I made this and love it. Can you advise if this freezes well. I would love to make and give as gifts. Thanks.
l
You can freeze it – just wrap it really well in saran wrap then aluminum foil and put it in a big ziplock bag!

I made this last night and did not come out like the one pictured. It baked all around the edges and bottom, but the center third or so was uncooked. I used coconut milk in place of regular milk and I baked it in a dark bread pan (at 350 for 35 min). Could one of those be the culprit for the unbaked center? Thank you.
Hmmmm strange. I’m really sorry it didn’t come out for you… as I’ve made it several times and had others say it came out great for them. I really don’t think it would be the coconut milk that caused it to be uncooked in the center. You should be able to sub coconut milk for regular milk with no problem in baked goods. I used a light colored aluminum loaf pan – Light-colored or shiny metal bakeware is the best for even browning, while darker-colored metals can cause over-browning and maybe therefore cause it to be more cooked on the outside and less cooked on the inside. The only other thing I can think of is checking to make sure your oven temperature is accurate? Other than that – I’m puzzled! 🙁 If it wasn’t cooked on the inside (if you try it again), I would put it back in the oven but cover it with foil so the top doesn’t get too brown but gives the inside more time to cook.
have this in oven right now, my kitchen smells wonderful! added a cup of dried cranberries and so far looks divine!
What a great idea! Enjoy, Debbie!!
I found this exact cake on “Allrecipes” They call it “Apple Cinnamon White Cake”
Just wanted to give credit where credit is due.
I also made it yesterday. Cake came out awesome but it had to cook for 1 hour. I checked the cake at 35 minutes and not done. Finally done and perfect at one hour.
A relative of mine emailed this recipe to me typed out so but I SO appreciate you bringing to my attention when a recipe is found somewhere else. The problem with allrecipes.com is it’s hard to find the original source of the recipe, as well. The user on there does not say where it came from. I guess it’s a mystery! I’m glad you liked the cake – thanks for letting me know!
I made the mistake of making mine in a stone baker. Mine is in the oven now and taking much longer. However, smells awesome!
Same here Charlene mine was not cooked at 30 min it took about an hour or so.
My daughter and I cannot eat Granny Smith apples. The last time we did (years ago) we both broke out in a terrible rash and the itching was pure torture for us. Is there a substitute for Granny Smith apples?
Mcintosh seem to hold up well in baking!! Or maybe a Fuji apple!! Hope that helps 🙂
This looks absolutely yummy!! I will have to make it. I love apples and harvest has brought a lot of them!
My loaf is currently in the oven, smells amazing by the way! Only problem I’m having is the middle won’t cook all of the way. It’s been in for about 45-50 minutes now and I’m using a metal loaf pan. Everything I’ve ever baked with apple in it has always taken at least an hour.. Oh well I can’t wait to try it!
Ahh gotta love how ovens cook things differently! It will eventually set up. Just cover the top so that doesn’t get too overdone. Enjoy!
Dear Ashley, This loaf looks moist and delicious! I would love a slice of this for breakfast or dessert. I can only imagine how wonderful this must have smelled baking. xo, Catherine
If you use the loaf pan does the center get done without burning the outside? What about using 3 mini loaves?
Yes, that’s how I bake mine. Loosely cover it with foil if you’re worried about the top getting too done. I’m sure this would work with mini loaves! You may have to adjust baking time, though. Let me know if that works out well! 🙂
Hi there! I made this today and also found it was soupy in the center after baking a good 40 minutes. I put foil on top and probably baked it for a total of an hour and it was done perfectly! Not too done on the outside.
Thanks for letting us know, Kathy! I hate how ovens cook so differently!! But it’s better to have it underdone than overdone 😉
Delicious looking dessert bread. Nice post.

Made this today, added 1/2 cup craisins(cuz I put them in everything, almost)
Totally, supremely awesome recipe. Cake was perfect. Hubby was happy!
Thank You!
So glad you liked it, Carol! Great idea with the craisins! I may have to try that next time 🙂
Question: I made it today just as the recipe says but all the good stuff fell to the bottom. Still very yummy but kind of bland til you get to the sugary stuff and apples at the very bottom of the loaf. Any idea why that may have happened? But like I said, it’s still very tasty!
Hi Amanda! Maybe the apples were pushed in too deep?? Sorry – that’s never happened to me before! Some sites recommend coating the fruit with flour before adding them to the batter to prevent them from sinking. You could always try that next time ???????????? I’m so glad it still tasted great. -Ashley
Would you be able to substitute almond flour with white flour and coconut sugar with brown & white sugar?
I don’t see why not! 🙂 -Ashley
Will let you know. Ty
This bread smells heavenly. I am using. Light loaf pan and so far I’ve cooked it 53 minute and the center Is still jiggly. I’m watching it closely Will be checking the temperature in my oven as well So far I love it. Will let you know how it turns out
This looks fabulous! I’m at college and have everything for this recipe except the butter. All I have is I can’t believe it’s not butter. I don’t have canola oil. Is there an easy substitute for it? Or will the recipe turn out without the butter?
You definitely need the butter, sorry to say! It won’t turn out the same with anything else and I wouldn’t want you to waste your time and other ingredients 🙁 As far as the oil, any oil can be substituted.
Hello …I made this yesterday. Mine came out a little dry/crumbly. It smelled divine while cooking and slicing but I am wondering if a little dry means it needed a little oil or yogurt or milk to give it that added moistness …..or I just plain cooked it too long. Curious if anyone else had this issue as well. Thank you! Great site!
I noticed that the recipe doesn’t call for any salt. Is that an error?
I used salted butter! Thanks for noticing that!
Can I substitute the milk for soy milk and butter for oil?
I’ve never tried it this way so unfortunately I can’t promise anything. I might Google it and see if you can find anything about people having positive results with those substitutions in baking!
Dear Ashley,
I made this apple bread for the first time about 2 weeks ago and gave half of it to a neighbor who was installing a fence around part of my property. He called me the next day to tell me how wonderful the bread was. He said between him, his wife and son it was already gone. Everybody loved it! I promised him I would make another loaf for him soon and I just took it out of the oven. When its cooled I’m going to call him and find out when I can bring it over. The other half I made from the first loaf was shared between me and my brother. We both agreed it was a keeper. Thank you for coming up with this delightful treat. Merry Christmas!
Nan, your comment was so sweet. Thank you so much for taking the time to let me know! Merry Christmas!
Can you substitute country crock for the butter?
I’m not sure how margarine would work in this recipe. Sorry!
Made this today and the flavors are great! Only issue is that it’s a little bit dry. I did have to cook it longer because the inside took long to cook (my loaf pan is a little smaller than the recipe calls for and my stove/oven is really old lol) any tips on what I could do to help with the moisture next time??
Great flavor. My only concern is the bread is very crumbly. I have made this twice now and it does not stay in a slice form. I have tried adding sour cream, which added a great flavor, but didn’t help the form of the bread. Any suggestions or is this happening to anyone else? I followed the recipe to a T.
This bread is to die for!!
Ahhhh such a favorite in our house. Perfect for the apple season.
Oh yum! I’m so glad it’s about to be fall so that I can dive into desserts like this all the time!
The perfect fall treat – love baking with apples!
One of my favorite fall treats!
I’m not sure I’d have any self control with a loaf of this in my kitchen, so yummy!
A must-make for fall!
I made this for my friends bachelorette party and it was a hit! Yummy comfort food!
Recipe was easy to follow, but I did notice that the cook time was quite a bit different than the recipe called for. It actually took 60 minutes to fully cook in my oven. I removed it from the oven at 40 minutes (still mostly raw in the middle), covered it with foil and cooked it another 20 minutes. I was worried about it being over done but it was actually perfectly moist and delicious. ????????????????????????????????????????
Amazing recipe!!!
Four of my very favorite words! This bread looks fanastic!
Just made this , and my family loves it. It took 1 hour to fully cook, but it was worth the wait. (I covered the edges with foil for the last 20 minutes.) I did sub 1/2 of the white sugar with Swerve and added chopped pecans to the apple mixture.
Just made this today, but I tweaked it: First I made salted butter caramel with coconut sugar (1/2 stick or approx 65gm of French salted butter & 1/3 cup coconut sugar). I sprinkled some chopped pecans in the bottom of the pan and dribbled some caramel sauce on the bottom as well (I always line my pans with baking paper). I shredded 2 Pink Lady apples (had them on hand) and mixed those with the cinnamon-sugar. Then I swirled that mixture into a layer of batter followed by caramel sauce (repeat until all ingredients mixed in). I sprinkled the top of the batter with chopped pecans and baked. It took about 60-70 minutes in my oven, though I started checking after 35 mins and covered the top loosely with baking paper around 45 mins so it wouldn’t over brown. My husband said it was out of this world! Any thoughts on how it would hold up in a cake pan as a cake rather than loaf pan? Would it be too moist for a cake? Thanks. 🙂
FYI this recipe definitely takes a full hour to bake.
I agree. A full hour like most quick bread recipes. I used 1/2 unsalted butter and 3 Tablespoons of applesauce for maximum apple flavor. But definitely a full hour. Very good!
hi jest wanted to say this recipe looks so good I will have to try it soon .
I made this tonight it was super delicious! Thank you so much for sharing! I did add a bit more cinnamon to the brown sugar and next time I’m going to dice up 2 apples instead of 1 cause I really like baked apples, but this recipe is definitely going in my favorite box! Thanks again!
OMG. totally going to be making this at the weekend! My little one will love this!
Thanks for taking the time to share 🙂
I statrd out wanting to make double the recipe, while also trying g to watch a movie. I accidentally read 1&1/2 cups of milk. So I put in 3 cups! Wow what did I do! I added another double amt of all the other ingredients. Oh, and
I also added 1 tsp nutmeg & 1 tsp cinnamon to to all of the batter. By this time I had lost my patience and addled 3 peeled & chopped up granny smith apples to the batter.
I laid the cinnamon brown sugar on top of each loaf then swirled it around with a butter knife. Oh yea I also added walnuts to the batter & brown sugar & also to the cinnamon brow sugar topping. I stuck the loaf pan in oven. Pressed 60 minutes on timer. At 60 min I checked but it wasn’t ready. I added another 15 to 20 min. It worked.
Delicious. One more thing. I added Stevia. So halved the regular sugar & completed the rest with Stevia.
On the following day loaf is more compact.
I believe I can slice & dip into egg for French toast.
I don’t have all purpose flour. Just Homestyle (bread) flour. Can I use that for this recipe?
I think that should be fine.
Mine was super salty. Used regular veg oil instead of butter, and didn’t add any salt.
Also cooked it for 55 mins for the middle to cook
Turns out,my bag of sugar had salt mixed in it from the manufacturer,so I’ll try again when I get a new bag!
Hi . I did this yummy bread once and it was so delicious and ever body liked it, of I would like to double the ingredients , what round size tine I can use?? And for the oven temperature and baking time can i keep it the same?? Thanks
Admiring the time and effort you put into your blog and detailed information you offer!..
I made this in the morning for Sunday brunch with the girls. We all bake or cook something. This was declared amazing delicious by all. It’s so moist and tender. The entire kitchen smelt like apple pie!
I baked mine for 40 minutes and at 30 minutes I tented it with foil.
Thanks for the great recipe!
Just made this recipe for my girlfriend and she absolutely love it! The bread is moist and sweet. Very delicious 😉 I think I will use this recipe as a white cake base and try to bake a mango cake for my kid!
Thank you!
Just made it
It smelled so good baking my daughter couldn’t wait to eat it.
I made the recipe as is baked for 45 minutes, it’s absolutely delicious. A great recipe. I’ll make it into muffins next and add another Apple. Thanks for the wonderful recipe
My new favorite recipe! Its not as sweet as cake nor as soft. At the most its a hybrid between cake and bread. To me its more like a bread because its got JUST enough sweet to satisfy all palates. My coworkers ate this up and asked for the recipe.
I made this yesterday and it turned out very nice. I was expecting more of a cake type than bread even without reading the previous comments. The only thing I will do different with the next one is add a second apple. But, it was delicious as is.
I loved the recipe but It took a hour to bake!?
I just loved this. It was such a delicious Thanks.
I tried the apple pie cake did not turn out so well but this recipe for the bread turned out very well not sure what I did wrong with the apple pie cake but the bread is a hit I love it I’ve made it for the holiday desserts

Now that the kids are out of school, the schools are still providing lunches. A staple seems to be apples.
I found this recipe when I searched for something easy to make with apples.
I doubled the recipe and baked in a Bundt pan.
It was absolutely delicious! We have 12 people here, half of them being kids from 10 to 19. Everyone loved it!
Thank you!
Thank you!!!
nice blog keep it up sir.
you knew you are the best kook in the worls keep it up and clam
I made this today. The batter reminded me of a Jewish Apple Cake. I had the same problem a couple of people mentioned; the cooking time needed to be extended to about an hour. But I have that same issue when I make Jewish Apple Cake. I have to bake it much longer they the center done.
I’ll have to experiment with different pans and longer cooking times. Other than this, a great recipe.
Very cute ideas AND so simple! Thanks for sharing such an amazing post!
Thank you so much for sharing such a nice post. If it is possible then keep updating on regular basis.
I love your blog!! You have such great recipes – I use them a lot. Thanks so much for the inspiration!! Wating for your next post!

I surely try this dish at my sweet home and hope it will be as Delicious as it is in this post !!
Looks delicious and amazing !!
Just made this with one substitution… I added more apples and more of the cinnamon brown sugar (totally afraid it was too much) baked it for 35 minutes but decided at 40 minutes it was done. Even though mine didn’t look exactly like yours, it still turned out “fantastic”! My husband and I have practically eaten half of it already! He raved about how good it was and for me to “write this one down” – which means it goes into my “handwritten” recipe box that my grandmother gave me. What a Wonderful, wonderful recipe, this is a keeper.
Thank you…
This is absolutely delicious! I had to bake mine in hour and it still could have stood another couple of minutes. Oh so yummy!
Love this recipe. It is a fam fav. Made many many times!!!
nice post keep it up.
Made this but I had to adjust it due to special diet requirements I have. I added 2 cups of toasted oats. For some of white flour and 2 extra apples. Less sugar
Hi ! Looking forward to making this! Interestingly, Laura Vitale on Laura in the kitchen has posted this same recipe ! In October of 2017.couple months after you did !!
I was all set to make apple pie tonight….but that will have to wait now that I have this tempting recipe. Thanks for sharing! wating for the next Post.
This Blog is very and Papular .I like your articals .So i impressed your work and your blog
I want to creat website like your blogs .My website name is kasauti live on dramas .
The recipe was super simple and easy to follow, I baked mine for 30 minutes and then another 10 covered in foil! The consistency one cooked is very comparable to Banana Bread and the taste is amazing! So, so autumnal and delicious, would really recommend for the fall!
I forgot the milk…. but i love the texture honestly. not as fluffy. more like a struddley texture. awesome.
Very tasty! Pretty easy and relatively quick to prepare. Took about 45 minutes to bake, but it came out perfect! I drizzled some caramel sauce on top which tasted amazing! Next time I will be putting more apples inside.
I had to add a lot more milk to get near the consistency seen in the video… Is it really only one half cup?
Just made this and it was delightful! Only change I made was I doubled the cinnamon/sugar topping and divided it between the center and the top… I had to bake it for 50/minutes. I assume it took longer to bake because I added the extra topping…. It came out perfect!! Will be making this again!
So I made this and it turned out absolutely delicious. So sweet so cinnamony 👌I used 2 fresh apples and chucked in a pear too works perfectly. I made it for my friend and haven’t stopped making it since, she absolutely loves it and so do me and my family.
Thank you for sharing <3

I noticed someone asked if you could make muffins instead of a loaf, but I do not see an answer. What do you think? Can we make muffins. Sounds great.
yes that would be yummy! I would just adjust the baking time!

Thanks For Sharing this Amazing Recipie
Just made this yummy cake/bread for the second time. I used two apples, which resulted in a longer baking time. I also added a tsp of mixed spice to the batter.
It is so quick to mix up, if you don’t count peeling and chopping the apple. 😁
Love it! Thanks for such a lovely post……

You made a comment about apple French toast. Could you use this bread to make the French toast or would it be too moist and fall apart if you put it in an egg wash?

Looks like I messed up. I would rate this recipe as “5” Star!
I’m a professional beker and have to say recipe is great, I made it with cooked apples instead of fresh, regarding the baking time, first you need to have thermometer inside the oven and make sure it stays at 350 f or 176 C. For 55 minutes. Then your cake won’t burn, there will be no need to cover with foil and will be perfectly baked
Love this delicious Cinnamon Apple Pie Bread, never tried this one before . Thanks for sharing this delicious one with us.

Lovely recipe.. I like it.
It is very yummy flavors.
nice recipe thanks for sharing
Smells great! Waiting for it to cool so I can try it. Mine was done in 37 minutes. I’m guessing those who said it took almost an hour were probably using a pan smaller than the 9×5 the recipe called for. A 9×5 loaf pan has double the volume of an 8×4 pan (8cups vs. 4cups. The “standard” 8.5×4.5 is 6cups). Just the surface area is a difference of 13 square inches. It took me years to figure out the reason my white bread never rose above the pan and mushroomed like it should was because I was using a larger bread pan. Why would a half inch difference matter? Turns out it does. Anyway, this recipe still works in a different pan, it will just take longer. A corner of the bottom stuck in the pan and I lost some topping when I flipped it over so I will use parchment paper next time instead of grease & flour.
Even a half-inch difference can make an impact! The recipe still works in a different pan, but it might take a bit longer. A corner of the bottom stuck to the pan, and I lost some of the topping when flipping it over. Next time, I’ll use parchment paper instead of just greasing and flouring.
yummy flavors, looking amazing to eat
My kids are just loving it, thanks for sharing this quick recipe
This cinnamon apple pie bread recipe sounds amazing! I love that it captures all the cozy flavors of fall without the fuss of making a pie crust. The brown sugar and cinnamon topping must be the perfect sweet finish. Can’t wait to bake this and enjoy a slice with my favorite mug of cider! 🍏🍞✨
I totally agree with you. I kept thinking it wasn’t cooked/baked enough so I kept putting it back in oven then the surrounding was getting too baked. But it taste amazing!
