I love Valentine’s Day! Even back when I was single I thought it was a fun day because it gives you an excuse to eat food you wouldn’t normally eat (AKA all the ridiculous amount of sweets.) It’s the one time of the year where I gorge myself in chocolate because I’m “supposed” to. I’m not even a huge chocolate fan, but it would just be wrong not to.
What do you do for Valentine’s day? Mr. Wishes and I normally have a date night out but we will do it a few days before Valentine’s day so we can have our choice of restaurant without planning ahead. We are SO not planners… so a holiday that requires you to know exactly where you’re eating and when at least a week or two ahead of time is not really our thang. Soooo…we cook at home together on actual Valentine’s Day. Last year we made this Filet Mignon with a blender Bearnaise sauce.
