Sheet Pan BBQ Chicken Pizza has a crispy crust, tons of cheese, and tender chicken, with the sweetness of hickory barbecue sauce. It’s a snap to make!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 pizza dough store bought, room temperature
  • 2 cups shredded chicken 9.87 oz | 280 g
  • 1 ½ cups BBQ sauce 7.05 oz | 200 g, plus more to serve
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 medium white onion sliced
  • 8 slices bacon
  • ½ cup parmesan cheese shredded (2.11 oz | 60 g)
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese shredded (7.95 oz | 225 g)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 428 F | 220 C. Grease a baking sheet with the olive oil.
  • Place the pizza dough on the baking sheet. Use your fingers to stretch the pizza dough until it reaches the edges of the sheet pan.
  • In a medium mixing bowl, mix chicken, BBQ sauce and cayenne pepper. Spread the mixture evenly on the pizza dough.
  • Sprinkle the parmesan cheese with 1 cup mozzarella cheese on the dough. Then onion, bacon and the rest of mozzarella cheese. Place in the middle of the oven and bake for 15 minutes.
  • Remove and serve with more BBQ sauce if you prefer.

Tips:

Can I add some veggies?

  • Yellow bell pepper
  • Green bell pepper

How to store leftovers:

Allow to cool down completely. Store in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 3 days.

How to freeze:

Place in a foil. Freeze for up to 1 month.

How to reheat:

Allow to defrost completely before heating up. Reheat in the microwave, air fryer or the oven.
