  • -Place your popcorn in a large bowl and set aside.
  • -In a sauce pan, place your butter, champagne, light corn syrup, marshmallows, and powdered sugar.
  • -Place the sauce pan on the stove on medium heat.
  • -Slowly stir the mixture with a spatula until it is well-combined and boiling. About 10-12 minutes.
  • -Remove from the heat and add in some of your gold edible glitter.
  • -Stir once with your spatula. Clean and dry your spatula.
  • -Grab you bowl of popcorn.
  • -Pour the melted mixture over the popcorn.
  • -Mix the popcorn and melted ingredients together using a spatula, making sure to scrape the sides and bottom.
  • -Sprinkle the mixture with the gold sanding sugar and more of the edible glitter.
  • -Give the mixture a few minutes to cool.
  • -Clean your hands or get some gloves. If you are using your hands spray them with non-stick baking spray or rub them with shortening.
  • -Gather some popcorn and with your palms roll the popcorn together to create a ball.
  • -Place the ball on some parchment and repeat the previous steps to make all the the popcorn balls.
  • -Once all the balls are completed leave them in a cool dry place to solidify. It takes about 5-10 mins.
  • -If you want the popcorn balls to be extra sparkly, add even more edible glitter and sanding sugar on them.
  • -Once the popcorn balls are dry, you can put them on a platter to serve or place them in a cupcake holders with a cover.
  • -Enjoy!

Notes

Note:

-These can be made with Sparkling Cider if they are for children and they will still be just as good.
-These can be stored in an air-tight container in cool dry place for up to 2 days.
-These balls will not dry sticky.
