Leftover Turkey Sliders are the perfect recipe for using Thanksgiving day turkey leftovers! Don’t waste a single serving of that delicious bird.

The turkey has been carved, the last slice of pie has been eaten, and the out of town guests have gone home.  Yet, there are still scraps of turkey to be enjoyed even after all of the Thanksgiving celebrations are over.

Every year, Mr. Wishes likes to make hot turkey sandwiches from the leftover turkey and gravy.  This year I decided to make mini sandwiches, or “sliders”, on dinner rolls with what we had left to use up.  All you do is rip the turkey into smaller pieces and heat it up in a sauce pan with some gravy on medium-low heat until nice and hot.  Then, butter some dinner rolls and lightly toast them in a toaster oven or in a regular oven on a baking sheet.  Slap the turkey on a warm roll with a little extra gravy and you’re good to go.  They are SO good, even if you are completely turkey’d out!

I’d still have to say that MY favorite way to use leftover turkey is this turkey tetrazzini recipe.  Delicious!

Did everyone have a great Thanksgiving? Did anyone brave black Friday?  As for me – I was sleeping in my bed and wouldn’t have had it any other way…
