Recipe type: Drink
Cuisine: Mexican
Serves: 6
Ingredients
1 ½ cups fresh strawberries, sliced
1 cup blueberries
1 honeydew melon, sliced and cut into stars, if preferred
1 cup white grape Juice, chilled
⅓ cup brandy
1 750ml bottle of dry white wine, chilled
Instructions
In a large glass jug or pitcher, combine the fruit, grape juice and brandy.
Pour in the white wine and gently stir to combine
Serve chilled as is or over ice. Enjoy!
Notes
Serving over ice will dilute the sangria
Can be stored in the fridge for 2 days
For a drier sangria, substitute club soda for the white grape juice
You can adjust ingredient quantities to suit your taste (a bit less brandy, etc.)
You will need a small star shaped cookie cutter to cut out the melon into stars if you choose to do that. Make sure to slice the melon into thin enough slices to make it easy to use the star cutter.
