Galaxy Hot Chocolate Bombs are fun, colorful chocolate orbs filled with hot cocoa mix, marshmallows, and sprinkles. This recipe for hot chocolate bombs is an over-the-top way to level up your hot chocolate game, especially for a party!

  1. Melt your pink and blue chocolate in separate microwave safe bowls in 30 second increments until completely melted.
  2. Drizzle a little of each color into every mold.
  3. Using a double boiler or the microwave method melt your blue chocolate completely.
  4. Use a spoon to place a bit of the melted chocolate into each mold.
  5. Smooth the chocolate up and around the edges.
  6. Place in the fridge for 10-15 minutes until set.
  7. Using either a double boiler or the microwave to melt the semi-sweet chocolate and spoon into the hardened chocolate in the mold and spread it around for a second coat.
  8. Chill for another 10-15 minutes.
  9. Very carefully remove the chocolate shells from the molds.
  10. Microwave a small glass plate for 30-45 seconds just to make it warm. Set aside.
  11. Take a shell and place on the warm plate to smooth the edges. Do this for half of the shells.
  12. Fill half of the shells with 1 tablespoon of hot chocolate mix, star sprinkles, and a few star and moon marshmallows.
  13. With the remaining half of the shells take each one and place on the plate to lightly melt the edges.
  14. Immediately place the top shell on the filled shell.
  15. Use your finger to smooth the seam.
  16. You can dip a few star sprinkles in the remaining chocolate and stick to the outside of the bombs.
  17. Optional: use extra chocolate and sprinkles to decorate the edges of the mugs.
  18. Serve in a mug, pouring hot milk over the bomb and stirring until completely melted. Enjoy!
