Chocolate Peanut Butter Eggs

There's never a bad time to make these incredible and easy peanut butter eggs. This recipe for chocolate peanut butter eggs is awesome!

Ingredients
  • 1 ½ cups creamy peanut butter
  • ¼ cup butter, melted
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 package chocolate Almond Bark
  • Colored sprinkles, optional
Instructions
  1. In a bowl combine peanut butter, butter, and salt until smooth and creamy. Gradually add in powdered sugar.
  2. Line a 8x8 square pan with parchment paper leaving extra hanging over the edges
  3. Press peanut butter mixture evenly into pan
  4. Place in freezer for 30 minutes
  5. Remove from freezer and lift parchment paper out of pan
  6. Cut with egg shaped cookie cutter and place on baking sheet lined with parchment paper
  7. Place in freezer for 1 hour
  8. Break almond bark into squares and add to microwave safe bowl
  9. Heat for 1 minute, stir and continue heating for 30 seconds at a time until chocolate is almost melted
  10. Stir to melt chocolate completely
  11. Remove eggs from the freezer
  12. Dip into chocolate and place on parchment lined baking sheet
  13. Add sprinkles immediately if desired
  14. Let sit until chocolate is hard, at least 1 hour
  15. Store in airtight container
