  • 1.5 cup tomato sauce
  • 4 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 4 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
Pasta & Remainder of Dish:
  • 4 cups dry Rotini or other similar pasta
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1.5 cup diced onion
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced (about 1 cup)
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • ½ teaspoon ground mustard
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  1. In a mixing bowl, thoroughly mix together all the ingredients for the sauce and set aside.
Pasta and the remainder of the dish:
  1. Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted, boiling water according the directions on the package and then drain.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the diced onion, green pepper and garlic.
  3. Sauté for about 5 minutes or until fragrant and veggies are soft.
  4. Add the ground beef, apple cider vinegar, ground mustard, and paprika to the same skillet and break up the beef up with a wooden spoon as it cooks all the way through - about 6-8 minutes.
  5. Add the sauce that you mixed up earlier to the skillet.
  6. Add the drained pasta and the cheese on top.
  7. Turn the heat down to medium-low, and stir the mixture until the cheese has thoroughly melted and the ingredients are evenly coated and distributed.
  8. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
