This is a delicious and easy cranberry sauce baked right in the oven with cinnamon and a hint of Orange liqueur - requires no time standing at the stove to make your holidays less stressful!
Serves: 2 cups
Ingredients
1 12-ounce package fresh cranberries
1¼ cups granulated sugar
2 tablespoons frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
2 tablespoons Orange Cointreau, Grand Marnier, or other orange-flavored liqueur
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
Preheat oven to 325°F.
Place cranberries in 8x8x2-inch glass baking dish. Sprinkle sugar, then orange juice concentrate over. Cover tightly with foil.
Bake until juices form and cranberries are very soft, about 50 minutes to an hour.
Uncover; mix in orange liqueur. Cover and refrigerate until very cold, about 4 hours.
Can be prepared a few days ahead. Keep chilled.
